Morena’s Next Topmodel

Here in Switzerland as also in Germany and Austria today starts the TV – Show Germany’s next Topmodel. A few followers asked me if I could write something about it, so I did. But one beautiful girl asked me if she could write a little part too and I agreed to it. Before you start reading what I think about this TV show, you should read her little cute part! 🙂 Here it is:

Over two billions of girls and women are watching MNTM – Morena’s Next Topmodel.

They are looking forward to the next few weeks to see who is going to win this show due to the authentic attributes called balanced and self-loved. They are not going to be evaluated by a jury of famous models, designers and photographers.. no.. but from people of the daily life. The point in this show is not about being thin, sporty or tall.. neither it’s about walking the cat walk perfectly or having the best posing in front of a camera. 

the main point is to show how naturally a human being can be without the jury looking only at appearances but more on character and the relation ship to the own body. 

The candidates have the opportunity to show the jury her self- acceptance, her self- respect and her self- love. This is going to happen across shootings with customers of clothing companies who appreciate the womanly appearance and fashion shows where the clothes are made for every type of woman. 

In the end one candidate will win. It has to be a candidate wo shows what it means to be at peace with herself. How she is going to look like? We don’t care about it.  The point is who she is, how she is and what defines her.

but well.. unfortunately this text doesn’t show reality, because Germany’s next Topmodel is just the opposite of that. It’s okay because I know that there are a lot of different body types. It’s okay being thin, sporty or tall as it’s okay being chubby, unsporty or small. Every woman has to chose what it’s best for her…

..but most important is that she is at peace with herself no matter what she looks like. What makes me sad is, that there are a lot models who are sad for not being enough thin and not being accepted because of this fact.. models who have to starve for a dream which maybe never will become true! And what I dislike most? The fact that this show allows only one body type! WE ALL KNOW THAT WOMEN COME IN ALL SHAPES AND IN ALL SIZES!! I hope this whole fashion thing will change completely one day, because EVERY WOMAN is beautiful in HER OWN WAY. <3

Wie ihr vielleicht wisst, beginnt heute Germany’s next Topmodel. Viele Leser haben mich gefragt, ob ich nicht etwas über dieses Format schreiben könnte.. also hab ich es getan. Aber eine liebe Leserin hat mich gefragt, ob sie etwas kurzes dazu schreiben könnte. Natürlich war ich einverstanden. Aber bevor ihr meine Gedanken dazu lest, lest bitte ihre süße Geschichte zuerst! 🙂

Über 2 Millionen Mädchen und Frauen schauen MNTM – Morena’s Next Topmodel. 

Gespannt freuen sie sich auf die nächsten Wochen, in denen sich zeigen wird, welche der Bewerberinnen aus Deutschland die Attribute „balanced and selfloved“ am authentischsten verkörpert. 

Bewertet werden sie dabei nicht von einer Jury, die sich aus prominenten Models, Designern oder Fotografen zusammensetzt, sondern von Menschen aus dem alltäglichen Leben. 

Es geht nicht darum, dünn, sportlich und groß zu sein, besonders gut auf einem Laufsteg zu laufen oder vor der Kamera eine perfekt in Szene gesetzte Figur abzugeben. 

Vielmehr auf eine natürliche Selbstdarstellung geachtet, die sich nicht auf Äußerlichkeiten beschränkt, sondern den Charakter und Beziehung zum eigenen Körper in den Fokus stellt. 

Durch Shootings, in denen dies verbildlicht wird, Castings mit Kunden, die Wert auf realistische, weibliche Darstellungen legen  und Modeshows, in denen Kleidung vorgeführt wird, die die persönlichen Vorzüge einer jeden Figur hervorheben, haben die Kandidatinnen die Möglichkeit ihre Akzeptanz, ihren Respekt und ihre Liebe dem eigenen Ich gegenüber  zum Ausdruck zu bringen.

Am Ende wird eine Finalistin gewinnen, die zeigt, was es heißt, mit sich selbst im Reinen zu sein. 

Wie sie aussieht? – Ist doch egal. Es geht darum, wie sie ist, wer sie ist und was sie persönlich ausmacht. 

Das ist MNTM – Morena’s Next Topmodel.

Das ist wirklich eine süße kurze Geschichte über eine wirklich schöne TV Sendung, denkt ihr nicht? 🙂 Als ich diesen Text gelesen hatte, war ich echt positiv überrascht. Der Text ist so kreativ und positiv und.. hach.

Leider entspricht dieser Text nicht der Wahrheit, weil GNTM genau das Gegenteil von dem ist, was die liebe Franzi erzählt hat. Es ist okay, weil ich weiss, dass es unzählig viele verschiedene Körperformen gibt. Ich finde es auch okay, dass es dünne, grosse und sportliche Körper bzw. Frauen gibt sowie es okay ist, füllig, klein oder unsportlich zu sein. Jede Frau muss für sich selbst entscheiden, was das beste für sie ist.. aber viel wichtiger finde ich, dass sie mit sich im Reinen ist egal wie sie aussieht.

Was mich hingegen traurig stimmt, ist, dass es Models gibt, die traurig sind weil sie nicht so dünn sind wie man es von ihnen erwartet und traurig, dass man sie deswegen nicht akzeptiert.. Models, die hungern wollen, um ihren Traum zu realisieren, der vielleicht sogar niemals wahr werden wird..

Aber wisst ihr was ich so ganz und gar nicht mag? Dass diese Show sowie auch andere Shows nur einen einzigen Körperbau akzeptiert. WIR WISSEN ALLE, DASS ES FRAUEN IN JEDER GRÖSSE UND JEDER FORM GIBT!! Ich hoffe, dass dieses ganze Fashion Ding sich mal so richtig ändern- und in eine andere Richtung gehen wird. Weil JEDE FRAU auf ihre EIGENE ART & WEISE schön ist! <3
